An experience to remember

From beginning to end the service was amazing. I recently celebrated my 30th at Sarino’s and have been communicating with Victoria for weeks and she answered all my questions and helped with all my requests, she was attentive and knowledgeable. We were kindly seated in a private room and our waitress was Cindy. Cindy was absolutely amazing, she attended to our every need, was kind, and humoured my whole family answering every question. We had the chef’s banquet and the food was impeccable, everyone was complimenting the deliciousness of the food and when we left we are all so full. Thank you to Sarino’s for creating a night not to be forgotten! I’LL BE BACK!”

Love love loved this place! If I could give 6 stars I would. It’s a beautiful restaurant, amazing food, and superb customer service! A little pricey but well worth every dollar as the food & customer service was just phenomenal! We will definitely return & definitely recommend it to friends & family! Wish I took more photos of the food but it just looked too good and had to dig in straight away!”

Finally in the Hills! A place that is up to CBD standards and it’s local. We’ve been twice in the last few weeks to celebrate special occasions. The food, cocktails/wine, ambience and decor are truly amazing, but I would say what stands out the most is the superb customer service and dedication. They remembered us from the first time we went, and were extremely accommodating with our requests and made our experience even more memorable and special. I cannot wait to be back! I don’t think I can go and dine anywhere else in the area after being here! Keep up the outstanding work, and menu!

What a delightful surprise. The venue is warm and inviting and the menu is worth investigating. We just popped in for an impromptu drink and enjoyed ourselves so much, we stayed much longer. The drinks were delicious, the staff helpful and friendly, and the food was divine. Cannot wait to come back and try the full menu for dinner

AT LAST! Very stylish but not pretentious hotel, choice of bars with very comfortable and well-thought seating options. Sarino’s restaurant serves a good variety of choices and on our latest visit, we chose dishes from the ‘starters’ menu to create a tapas-style of dining. No disappointments. Salumi platter, prosciutto with burrata, arancini, bruschetta, cuttlefish, fries with lightly grated Parmigiano and the very simple yet deliciously dressed gem salad. Good wine list, good cocktails and welcoming, friendly and trained staff. Great to have a new dining option in The Hills and at last, stylish bars to enjoy a drink with friends.

Amazing service! We had last minute changes to our event and were seeking an event space to accommodate our requirements. The staff were highly personable and took time to understand our needs and cater for everything we required. Nothing was too difficult for them! Special thanks to the event staff who organised, as well as the team on the evening that were looking after us…. from the wait staff through to the chef’s – I highly recommend!!

A group of three of us went to Sarino’s to celebrate my birthday. We were pleasantly surprised by the amazing service from the waitresses who were all bubbly, friendly and accommodating. It’s not often you have the pleasure of that kind of service anymore. They also went beyond to make me feel special on my birthday, presenting me with a card and a drink. The food was also amazing. We had the Chefs sharing menu which was generous and delicious. After every dish we would declare that that one was our favourite only to be wowed by the next. We loved the food and were disappointed that by course 3 we were unable to finish the dish, although we tried!

Perfect evening! My wife & I had dinner & drinks in Sarino’s for our wedding anniversary & it was the perfect night! The service was awesome & at such a high quality. Every single person carried an sense of professionalism & care that was so impressive. I felt as though I had been invited into your home & was taken care of as a guest. The food & drinks were delicious. We loved it all! Finally the ambiance was so comfy & romantic. The venue was fantastic with great details in the comfort lighting & design. One of the BEST food experiences in my life. I’ve been a commercial traveller and have eaten at more restaurants than at home. Apart from the famous Cicconis in Melbourne, the food quality here is exceptional. Try the 24 month aged Prosciutto. It melts like butter in your mouth. The deserts were amazing too. The atmosphere and decor is relaxed but stylish. Service is also exceptional. Love this place.

Amazing little spot tucked away in Norwest!! Went with friends and opted for shared dishes as recommended – which was great – so many amazing dishes to try! Honestly could not fault it, each and every dish was divine! The service is brilliant, staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable, decor is gorgeous, and the overall ambiance is just heaven – very lux, but also very cool and chilled. Will definitely be back again.

We’ve hired out one of the function rooms for a family lunch which was a great dining experience in a private room seating 16, and with plenty of room to move around freely. We’ve also dined in the restaurant either as a couple or with friends and enjoy that the tables are well spaced apart and despite floorboards, the restaurant is relatively quiet. The food never disappoints, we especially like the prosciutto with burrata salad, scampi, salmon, fish, desserts and the children’s menu is more than adequate. A good wine list and cocktails. One of the most impressive aspects for us is the staff. Well-trained, welcoming, friendly, and professional. Special mention of a delightful young woman (Australian/Japanese) who extends to us the most professional service, wine recommendations and recently ensured a large family birthday lunch went seamlessly

About the Chef

Introducing Sarino’s Executive Head Chef, Alex Keene, now leading the charge at Sarino’s Restaurant & Bar.

You might not think he sounds Italian, but taste some of his dishes and he will take you straight to Italy!

For Alex, growing up on his family’s farm made his future as a chef an easy decision. He believes the key to Italian cooking is simplicity and the celebration of fresh produces.

His professional career spans a variety of Italian restaurants including Il Lago and Ormeggio at The Spit where he spent 5 years cooking alongside some of the best chefs in Australia.

In 2015, Alex opened Via Alta in Willoughby, together with the directors of Ormeggio before finding his way back to the Hills which he has always considered his home. Alex’s dad owned a nursery at Kellyville and he grew up appreciating plants and the importance of feeding people.

Sarino’s menu celebrates Momento Hospitality owner, Ross Colosimo’s family heritage, showcasing some of his favourite flavours and influences of Italian cuisine whilst using traditional and modern cooking techniques to recreate the dishes in surprising ways.

Traditionally enjoyed on special occasions nothing turns heads like the fragrant smell of a whole juicy suckling pig infused with garlic and fresh herbs. Carved tableside by your chef and served with all the trimmings this experience is perfect for special occasions.

Whole suckling pig encrusted with salt to create the perfect crackling.
